Temar has recently appeared as Lion in The Wiz at The Red House Art Center is Syracuse, NY, Resean in Odysseus DOA by Stephen Svoboda at Theatre Row, and as General Fu-Fu and Kermugen in Galactic Girl in Attack of the Starbarians by Jon Hoche in the Comic Book Theatre Festival. Temar was selected as a nytheatre.com 2011 Person of the Year.

Temar released his 2006 debut album Ad Lib to Fade. From that album he released the R&B track Inside Out as a commercial single, which skyrocketed to the top of the Billboard Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Single Sales chart and subsequently became the best selling R&B commercial single of 2008.

Temar's play Leak had its world premiere in 2009 at The Wings Theatre and his play The Lady Drug Dealer and the Heist had its world premiere at the New York International Fringe Festival this past August. Both plays were selected and published to indietheaternow.com, a digital library of American indie plays.
